River City Hacky Sack Title

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Your game isn't loading and I am very impatient! Why won't this damn thing load?!
A: For one, this game is nearly 5 MB. If you're on a 56k connection, you're in for quite a wait, my friend. It's also possible that something is wrong with your Flash player.

Q: Is there any way I can get a downloadable version of this game?
A: Yes. Click here.

Q: Will you ever release the source code to this game?
A: No.

Q: I recognize a lot of famous video game characters in RCHS, but who the hell are these other people?
A: If they're not a celebrity, historical figure, or classic video game character, then they are characters made up by Livestock or myself.

Q: What the hell are Flare Effects?
A: Flare Effects are extra effects that serve no purpose other than making the game look nice. This includes the auras around the angels, player motion blurring, and various particle effects. If you're using a crappy computer, these effects can really slow down the speed of the game so I decided to include an option to toggle them.

Q: Are there any secrets in this game?
A: Yes, but you're going to have to find them yourself.

Q: Is there a way for me to donate money to you for all the hard work you put into this game?
A: If you really need to get rid of some cash, you can go to my band's merch page and buy our CD. That way you actually get something in return, be it music you may like or a new shiny disc on which to set your beverages. Also, I command you to buy some Something Awful merchandise. Bandwidth isn't free!

Q: Can I send you ideas for features to be included in future versions of the game?
A: You can, but there wouldn't be much of a point in doing so. I'm not going to be working on this game anymore, as I am completely burnt out on it and wish to get started on other games.

Q: Are you ever going to make any other River City Ransom-inspired games?
A: Yes. Someday.

Q: What programs did you use to make this?
A: Macromedia Flash 5, Paint Shop Pro 6, Cool Edit 2000, and Jeskola Buzz. I assume Livestock used something fancier for his graphics.
